Nadi Family Photos

So great to have a picture of the entire crew!
We hosted a brunch to celebrate Pat & Nadi's 40th anniversary (Wow! Congrats! What an amazing example they are!) and had a professional photographer stop by to get some family photos. They turned out so great!
Our first official photo as a family of 4

The Tiny Tornadoes are Reunited

The last week before school started EJ was out of camp and I got childcare for Nora so I could spend some good QT with my first baby.  One day we met her bestie from her old school, Reese, at the Botanical Gardens.  It was a beautiful day and the girls acted like they had never been apart, immediately resorting to their old ways and having a blast.
Stopping to smell the roses

Fun in the fountains!
Snack break
Love these sweet girls!
Making wishes! EJ wished for a mermaid,
Reese for princesses  =)
Stefanie and I saw this, flashed forward 20 years,
put cocktails in their hands, and shuddered
Running!
Cool gourd statues
Admiring the fish
We took this same trip with Reese last summer. What a difference a year makes!
This summer above, last summer below.
They are growing up way too fast!
On their way in last summer. On their way out this summer.
Love these girls!
We had so much fun with Reese and her mom.  Can't wait to do it again soon!
Exhausted after a long day of fun!

Nora P - 11 months old

Ok, so as usual, I am way behind on this one. Oh well. I don't even have a monthly picture for her. <oops>
Let's just ignore that and go straight to all the great things she has done this past month!

We celebrated several important birthdays, including Faris, Najwa, and Ingrid.
Cousin Ingrid turns 1!
 We had great grandparent time!

As previously mentioned, Nora took her first boat ride.

We took these cute pictures to celebrate Father's Day.

And possibly most importantly, Nora started doing this. Which was the precursor to EJ learning to walk. Another early walker. Sigh.

Can't believe our sweet baby girl is almost 1!

Highschool Lake Week 2014!

From left to right: Sierra (2yo), Peyton (3yo), Brayden (5yo),
Elliott (3yo), Everett (3.5yo), and Nora (10m). Only Andrew (6m)
and Ethan (6yo) are missing from this shot!
Every year Amy's family graciously opens their lake house up for our annual highschool lake extravaganza.  This year was so much fun - as usual - as we spent long days in the water, catching up with each other, and watching our kids make long lasting friendships and great memories together.  Can't wait for next year!

Lots of great boating!
Everyone made this shot but Nora. It's like herding cats.
They are having fun, I swear.
Tiny boaters
Nora's first time on a boat!
Friends for over 30 years!
Lots of great swimming!
Even sweet Sierra finally got into the mix
My "No Fear" child loves dock diving, of course
It's better with friends!

Miss Beyla's favorite activity
Lots of great memory-making!
Bedtime with pre-schoolers should be an Olympic sport
Nora watches the big kids' bathtime and can't
wait until next year when she can join in
Catching grasshoppers!
We tried to recreate the popsicle picture from last year.

Below is 2013, with oldest on the right.
Love these kids!
 Great picture-taking opportunities!  =)

Don't let their cuteness fool you. They are Trouble.
That's with a capital T.
Baby Andrew is growing up!
The lake is Miss Beyla's happy place.
