Nora Patricia Nadi arrived via c-section at 8:30am on August 20th, weighing in at an even (and whopping!) 10 pounds, 21" long, and boasting lots of great fat rolls already. We are completely in love and everyone is doing great. I think she looks a lot like EJ did as a newborn, although she has more (and darker) hair. I can't wait to watch her grow!
The c-section was terrifying but went smoothly and was over quickly. Omar has been absolutely amazing and was my rock, keeping me calm when I was very much internally freaking out.

So far the recovery has been pretty much what I expected: lots of pain, and I feel completely useless since I can't really move or get out of bed, but overall it has been fine. We are just enjoying getting to know this new little person in our lives and trying to remember how to take care of a newborn. It is astounding how much you forget in just a few short years.
